Centre for Textile Research is delighted to announce the confirmed programme for the Centre's lecture series on new scientific techniques in the humanities is now available free to all comers.

The very exciting news is that funding has been secured and the programme can now be offered at no charge to participants (although places are limited so booking is appreciated).

We are hoping for interdisciplinary support for this programme – staff and students from all faculties are very welcome as are members of the public.

The weekly lectures will be held on Monday afternoons from 13:30 to 16:30 in room 15.A.0.13 at KUA2, Karen Blixens Vej 4, 2300 Copenhagen S.

Our invited speakers include pioneers and world experts in their fields – this is an exclusive opportunity to discover what is happening on the cutting edge of research into organic materials with implications for history, archaeology, anthropology and many other disciplines, including art history and cultural studies. Scientists may also find much to inspire them as it is their expertise which is producing new ways of looking at old materials.

The email address for enquiries and/or bookings is jmalcolm-davies@hum.ku.dk.

We look forward to seeing you.
