Studying abroad
As a full degree student at the Faculty of Humanities, there are several options for going abroad as part of your studies such as exchanges, work experiences, summer schools, conferences or even studying for a full degree. This page will give an overview of some of the options.
Why go abroad?
A different university and place to live is a chance to get acquainted with a different culture and open up for new perspectives on yourself and the world. Going abroad is a chance to think about and reconsider your interests, your goals and the world around you, maturing you as a student and as a person.
Going abroad is a maturing experience: You will get to know other ways of living, a different daily life, different fellow students and colleagues. You will also get to know and navigate a different bureaucratic system - certainly an empowering challenge!
Options available
Some of the different options for going abroad are:
- Exchanges in the Nordic countries, in Europe or overseas through one of the agreements held by the University of Copenhagen
- A study at a foreign university planned by yourself
- Going abroad on work experience
- Attending summer schools and conferences
