Integrating Research and Teaching
The University of Copenhagen hosts a conference for staff and other interested parties on Research-based Education.
Research-based education (RBE) is a key component of students' learning. It is crucial that all students develop skills that will enable them to make informed assessments, examine problems, make rational decisions and understand the foundation for these (Baarts, 2015). The objective of RBE is to prepare students for a professional life by giving them opportunity to work with and contribute to important research methodologies and processes in their field of study (Brew, 2013).
The University of Copenhagen's 2016 project on research-based education is hosting the conference for all researchers and teachers at the university. The conference aims to inspire you with regard to improving your research-based teaching and to provide you with a platform for discussing research-based teaching, learning and education with your colleagues and other relevant parties.
