South Campus

The main campus for the Faculty of Humanities is called South Campus and is in Njalsgade and by Karen Blixens Plads in the northern part of the Orestad on Amager.

Please note, that there is no access from Njalsgade, only from Karen Blixens Plads.

Parking: You need a parking permit or a guest ID card to park in the campus parking lots (area A, C and D on the map).

As an employee, you can read more and see how you get a parking permit at KUnet (intranet).

Are you a student, you can find information about parking on your study page (KUnet) under "Facilities".

If you are a visiting researcher, you can get a guest ID card at the department you are visiting.

Other visitors can park for two hours on Karen Blixens Vej or use the parking lots with parking meters on Njalsgade.

By bus: Bus number 12 (from Vesterport Station and the town hall square) and number 33 (from the town hall square).

By metro: Take the metro to Islands Brygge Station. From the station you have a 5-minute walk to the campus area.

Greenlandic and Arctic Studies Section

  • Strandgade 100H, DK-1401 Copenhagen K

By bus: Bus number 2A (from the town hall square or the central station) to Knippelsbro. From here you have a 10-minute walk. Click here to see a map of the walk.

By metro: Take the metro to Christianshavn Station. From here you have to walk a 15-minute walk.
