Board Game Studies Colloquium XX

The colloquium is an annual event which gathers together a wide range of scholars, curators, inventors, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world to present and discuss new research in the field of mainly historical board, card, and dice games. The participants represent a wide range of disciplines, including archaeology, history, philology, anthropology, mathematics, psychology, computer science, and many more.

The upcoming colloquium will be hosted in the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (CCRS) by PhD fellow Jacob Schmidt-Madsen from 17-20 May, 2017.
