The Research Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Law
The Research Ethics Committee approve research projects that need to document the formal institutional approval of the ethical aspects of the research involved.
The faculties are committed to ensuring that research activities involving human participants are conducted with respect for the dignity, rights, and welfare of participants and in a way that minimises risks to participants, researchers, and other involved parties.
In the ethical review, the committee assesses whether the research project is organised according to the current rules and standards for research ethics. The review will be conducted in accordance with international legislation for research involving human participants and national and EU rules for protecting personal data.
