The Faculty of Humanities’ Research Ethics Committee
The faculty’s Research Ethics Committee is in charge of ethical approval of research projects that require written documentation of the institution’s approval of the ethical aspects of the research.
The faculty is committed to ensuring that its research activities involving human participants are conducted with respect for the dignity, rights, and welfare of its participants and in a way that minimises risks to participants, researchers, and other involved parties.
In the ethical review, the committee will assess whether the research project is organised in accordance with the current rules and standards for research ethics. The review will be conducted in accordance with international legislation for research involving human participants as well as national and EU rules for protection of personal data.
