Registration and deregistration

Students at the Bachelor’s programme in International Business in Asia (CBS) are automatically registred for exams at ToRS and, if relevant, re-exams.

Please check your automatic exam registration in the student Self Service and contact tors-studiekontor@hum.ku.dk, if you are not registered correctly.

Should you consider deregistering, we suggest you contact a student counsellor to talk about how to structure your studies. Student counsellors can be reached on: tors-studievejl@hum.ku.dk.

Please be aware of the consequences a deregistration at UCPH could have on the study activity requirement at Copenhagen Business school.

The rules concerning complaints and appeals are found in the Ministerial Order No. 1062 of the 30th June 2016 on University Examinations and Grading (the Examination Order). Please note that the Examination Order in force is only available in Danish )

Read everything about Complaint Options at Study Information.

You can file an appeal to the Faculty of Humanities, if:

  • You disagree with the grade you have been given.
  • You have experienced legal errors in connection with the exam. E.g. the examination type differs from the description in the study curriculum.
  • You find that the exam question was incorrect. E.g. the exam question was not based on the content of the syllabus.
  • You are dissatisfied with the way the exam was conducted. E.g. if you believe that the examiner and/or the external examiner has made a mistake, such as examining outside the study curriculum.

You can file a complaint to the head of your department or to the Chairman of the Board of external examiners if:

Your complaint does not concern an academic evaluation, but contains criticism of the examiner or external examiner’s behaviour.  This complaint must be submitted to the head of your department.

You must submit your complaint/appeal no later than 14 days after the publication date of your grade.  If you receive your grade after the official publication date, you can submit a complaint no later than 14 days after receiving your grade. The complaint must be in writing and justified.

You can submit your appeal by sending an email from your alumni mail to the Faculty of Humanities, Education & Student Services, hum-fak@hum.ku.dk. You can also submit your appeal by sending it by regular mail to the Faculty of Humanities, Education & Student Services, Karen Blixens Plads 8, 2300 København S.
